These two photos were taken and submitted by John Cachel, a member of the Ghost Research Society. The photos were taken in Mt. Thabor Cemetery near Crystal Lake, Illinois in early November 1998.  During the investigation of the cemetery, John used a thermal scanner to detect several below freezing pockets of air and took these photos. He and his fellow investigator, Walter Meyers, also had another strange encounter.

John writes: "We noticed a scent that we agreed was a woman's strong perfume. It was near the baby's lot and neither of us were wearing aftershave. There were no flowers, nor anyone else in the cemetery, just the two of us. We also smelled the same perfume at the north section of the cemetery. Maybe it was the same woman and she followed us... who knows?"
