GHOSTS OF THE PRAIRIE

HAUNTED WEST VIRGINIA
The state of West Virginia is a rugged and historic place that dates back to more turbulent times. Its origins were carved out of the state of Virginia when residents of this mountainous region broke off from the mother state during the Civil War and voted to remain a part of the Union. Bloodshed and hatred followed and the state still bears evidence of that today.
The hauntings of West Virginia are as varied and unique as the state itself, from the only ghost that has ever been entered into legal history to the most bizarre creature to ever grace the annals of strange phenomena in America.
