HAUNTED OKLAHOMA

"I have to admit to you that starting work on a section for "Haunted Oklahoma" was a rather daunting task. Honestly, I had little to work with. It is not as though Oklahoma is a boring place... actually I traveled through there several years ago and found much to see along the forgotten roads of Route 66 and beyond. I am also sure that there are many ghost stories to be told in the Sooner State.... but the problem is that many of them have not been recorded."

Those were the words that I wrote when I launched this section of the newsletter back in 1998. At that time, this section had less than half of the stories that it now boasts. A short time after starting HAUNTED OKLAHOMA, I was deluged with stories.... some great, some fair, and some, well... let's just say "repetitive". With that I mean that I have yet to see a state with so many versions of the classic "Crybaby Bridge" story!
Regardless, I have had a great time with this section and the stories just keep coming! Check back often and see what we have added that's new!
