OVER MY DEAD BODY: For the last two decades,
author Troy Taylor has been chronicling the hauntings of
Illinois, from its ghost-infested houses to its abandoned
graveyards, but he has also become known for his tales of the
state’s blood-spattered criminal history – especially when it
pertains to the ghosts left lingering in the wake of murder,
horror and death. From tales of pirates and killers, a
vanished sausage-maker’s wife, a tragic young woman’s murder, a
mysterious hanging tree and the Prohibition wars that raged in
the southern part of the state, this collection of the author’s
favorite stories of homicides and hauntings will haunt the
reader long after closing the final pages of the book!
